Student Support Project
In FY2016, the University of Tsukuba launched a special project to support students with economic difficulties.
Use of Gifts to the Student Support Project
Gifts to the Student Support Project will be used for the following purposes.
-For exemption of all or part of tuition, admission and boarding fees, and other programs to reduce students' financial burden
-For student loans and scholarships
-To support students with the cost of study abroad
-To support expenses for research/teaching assistants

National income tax credit
Gifts to the student support project from individual contributors are qualified for tax benefits under the Japanese tax system. The contributor can either choose national income tax deduction or national income tax credit.
